1. Veterinary Alternative and Rational Medicine Applications

The 1st Veterinary Alternative and Rational Medicine Practices event was held on 15 March 2019 by the Faculty of Veterinary Science Research Society (ASÜVBAT) in the conference hall of our faculty. Professor of Biomedical Engineering, Pamukkale University. Dr. Ahmet KOLUMAN, Balikesir University, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Department of Surgery. Sinan ULUSAN, Graduate Student Veterinary Surgeon Ayşe Gökçen SOLAK and Biomedical Engineering student Kadir DEMİR attended the presentations. In the morning session of the event, Dr. Sinan Ulusan talked about the past, present and future of Veterinary Orthopedics in Veterinary Medicine, as well as his success story about how he developed orthopedic plaques and nails suitable for the first domestic and national veterinary medicine in the period he developed and worked as an assistant at Ankara University. Graduate Student Veterinary Surgeon Ayşe Gökçen Solak, Seminar presentations on the possibilities of graduate veterinary medicine were made. In the afternoon part of the program Dr. Ahmet Koluman, personal development, effective communication, body language and effective curriculum development techniques; Kadir Demir, a biomedical engineering student, made presentations on current issues related to the application areas of biomedical engineering in veterinary medicine. Our faculty member and academic advisor to the ASÜVBAT community In his speech, Ali Evren HAYDARDEDEOĞLU stated that “The event was very productive, and in the coming months, professional development in different disciplines and in a different concept, including private company representatives, will continue in a different concept kons. Academic staff and students attended the event. Dean of the Faculty Dr. Mustafa Cemal DARILMAZ “thanked those who contributed to the organization of the event”.
